A VERY SPECIAL LIGHT

BOVER AT THE EUROLUCE SALONE DEL MOBILE MILANO 2025

Bover at Euroluce Salone del Mobile Milano 2025

THE CHALLENGE

Bover asked us to create a space that reflected their philosophy and helped them present their five new collections at Euroluce 2025, one of the world’s most influential design fairs. The space had to convey calm, formal precision, and Mediterranean sensibility, without detracting from the prominence of the lighting fixtures. Bover Barcelona presented us with a moving challenge: to create a space where the warmth of the Mediterranean, the precision of designer pieces, and light as a form of emotion could coexist.

How to translate the warmth of the Mediterranean, the delicacy of an idea, and light with soul to one of the most demanding showcases in the world?

The challenge was twofold. On the one hand, to present five new collections, the result of collaborations with established and emerging designers. On the other, to create a space that conveyed that same quiet and coherent language, where each light fixture could not only be seen, but also felt. It wasn’t just about exhibiting products, but about projecting a philosophy: one that respects craftsmanship, celebrates the material, and connects with time.

OUR APPROACH

At TARS Design, we understood that it wasn’t about creating a stage, but an environment with soul. A place where each design could breathe, float, and engage with the visitor without raising its voice.

We created an exhibition environment that offered an intimate journey through Bover’s creative universe. The stand was structured as a sequence of welcoming atmospheres, where each piece could be perceived and understood.

We prioritized warm materials, subtle lighting, and fluid architecture that encouraged exploration and contemplation. The visual narrative accompanied the five collections with respect and aesthetic coherence.

We created a stand that was both a gallery and a refuge, conceived as a leisurely stroll through the emotional landscapes of each collection:

– ARID, by Nahtrang, like a mural topography that evokes the sea and the sand.

– CUOTA, by Milá + Laucirica, with its central void that transforms absence into light.

– BIRDIE, by Jorge Herrera, inspired by flamingos, delicate and slender like a plant whisper.

– FANALET, by Manel Molina, which reinterprets the traditional lantern with sobriety and robustness.

– YUYUN, by Joana Bover, the founder, which rises like a hand-woven vertical prayer.

Each space was designed to enhance the light without blocking it, allowing form, material, and craftsmanship to speak for themselves. We used authentic materials, warm textures, integrated lighting, and a layout that encouraged visitors to interact, connect, learn, and remember.

Everything to envelop without distracting. To accompany without invading.

"Working with a brand like Bover is a challenge that is both beautiful and profound: we have to translate its Mediterranean sensibility and respect for materials into an exhibition experience that moves you without anything artificial."

THE RESULTS

For six days, the Bover stand became a meeting place.

Among international visitors, designers, specialized press and design lovers, a common thread emerged: emotion.

The thrill of discovering pieces that not only illuminate but also inhabit.

This not only decorates but also sensitively structures the space.

These are not born from market urgency, but from the maturity of a brand that knows what it wants to say.

And for us at TARS Design, it was a privilege to be part of that story.

We helped build more than just a stand: we wove a stage of light with soul.

For six days in Milan, the Bover stand was not only visited, but inhabited.

Designers, architects, and international visitors stopped, touched, observed, and asked questions.

And most importantly: they connected.

They connected with a brand that, since its founding in 1996, has managed to grow without losing its essence.

They connected with a way of creating light that doesn’t respond to trends, but to emotions. A stand that not only presented their products, but also conveyed their identity. The design was recognized for its serene elegance, its dynamic nature, and its adaptation to the brand’s language. The space allowed Bover to consolidate its international position as a benchmark for designer, handcrafted, and poetic lighting.
