BEYOND THE PARTS
ACITURRI AT FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW 2022
Aciturri at Farnborough International Airshow 2022

THE CHALLENGE
For an aerospace engineering leader like Aciturri, the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is more than just a calendar event , it’s a global stage. In 2022, the stakes were even higher. The company was about to announce a major strategic partnership with Deutsche Aircraft to become a key supplier for the D328eco, a new generation of sustainable regional aircraft.
The challenge? To translate this industrial milestone into a memorable, high-tech brand experience, all within a compact 39m² stand. Aciturri needed to make a bold statement, not by showcasing physical aircraft parts, but by immersing visitors in their engineering excellence and forward-thinking vision.
How do you make invisible innovation visible? How do you exhibit intangible capabilities like composite manufacturing, assembly precision, and sustainability leadership?
OUR APPROACH
We responded by creating a space that felt as innovative as the announcement itself. The stand was designed around laser mapping technology, offering a dramatic and dynamic way to present Aciturri’s advanced components. Instead of traditional product showcases, we projected animated line drawings that appeared to be “built” in real time: a visual metaphor for the precision, complexity, and vision behind Aciturri’s work.
From the outside, semi-translucent LED screens revealed glimpses of this immersive interior, drawing curious onlookers in while maintaining a sense of high-tech mystique. The result was a double-layered experience: informative and futuristic on the inside, visually magnetic on the outside.
To complement the digital storytelling, we designed an outdoor business zone: a clean, functional space where Aciturri’s team could host meetings, hold impromptu press briefings, and connect with industry peers. The architecture and materials were carefully chosen to reflect Aciturri’s values: technical precision, digital transformation, and environmental responsibility.
The stand became not just a setting, but a statement: embodying Aciturri’s dual role as a manufacturer and a visionary.

“We envisioned the stand as a living organism, one that would breathe with the rhythm of the islands, immerse the visitor in nature, and interact with them on an emotional and technological level. We built an island inside the fair.”

José Vicente Gascó, Project Manager
THE RESULTS
The launch of the partnership between Aciturri and Deutsche Aircraft was one of the most significant announcements at FIA 2022. Under this agreement, Aciturri will supply the fairings, landing gear doors, and flight control surfaces for the D328eco: an aircraft designed for regional routes and special missions, with sustainability at its core.
Thanks to the immersive and visually striking design of the stand, the announcement was amplified with the right visual and emotional resonance. Media attention followed, industry leaders stopped by, and meaningful conversations took place: exactly what you want from a global airshow activation.
But beyond the immediate buzz, the stand reinforced a deeper narrative: Aciturri is not just building parts; it’s shaping the future of flight. The laser mapping installation made that vision tangible. The architecture embodied it. And the interaction zones brought it to life in every conversation.
As Dave Jackson, CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, put it:
“Aciturri’s engineering and sustainability capabilities fully allow Deutsche Aircraft to meet time-to-market objectives of the D328eco… We take pride in sharing the same vision on sustainability.”
This stand wasn’t about size: it was about message, experience, and alignment. It became a platform where technological storytelling met commercial momentum, and where Aciturri’s next chapter quite literally lit up the walls.
