BEYOND THE PARTS
ACITURRI AT THE FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW 2022
Aciturri at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA)2022
THE CHALLENGE
For a leader in aerospace engineering like Aciturri, the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is more than just a calendar event: it’s a global stage. In 2022, the stakes were even higher. The company was about to announce a major strategic alliance with Deutsche Aircraft to become a key supplier of the D328eco, a new generation of sustainable regional jets.
The challenge? To transform this industrial milestone into a memorable, high-tech brand experience, all within a compact 39 m² stand. Aciturri needed a striking image, not by displaying physical aircraft parts, but by immersing visitors in its engineering excellence and forward-thinking vision.
How do you make invisible innovation visible? How do you showcase intangible capabilities such as composite material manufacturing, assembly precision, and sustainability leadership?
OUR APPROACH
We responded by creating a space as innovative as the advertisement itself. The booth was designed using laser mapping technology, offering a striking and dynamic way to showcase Aciturri’s advanced components. Instead of traditional product displays, we projected cartoons that appeared to be “built” in real time—a visual metaphor for the precision, complexity, and vision that underpin Aciturri’s work.
From the outside, the semi-translucent LED screens revealed glimpses of this immersive interior, enticing onlookers while maintaining a mystical, high-tech atmosphere. The result was a two-dimensional experience: informative and futuristic on the inside, visually captivating on the outside.
To complement the digital narrative, we designed an outdoor business area: a clean and functional space where the Aciturri team could hold meetings, impromptu press conferences, and connect with industry colleagues. The architecture and materials were carefully chosen to reflect Aciturri’s values: technical precision, digital transformation, and environmental responsibility.
The stand became not just a stage, but a statement: embodying Aciturri’s dual role as manufacturer and visionary.
Concebimos el stand como un organismo vivo, uno que vibraría al ritmo de las islas, sumergiría al visitante en la naturaleza e interactuaría con ellos a nivel emocional y tecnológico. Construimos una isla dentro de la feria.

THE RESULTS
The launch of the collaboration between Aciturri and Deutsche Aircraft was one of the most significant announcements of FIA 2022. Under this agreement, Aciturri will supply the fairings, landing gear doors, and flight control surfaces for the D328eco: an aircraft designed for regional routes and special missions, with sustainability as its central focus.
Thanks to the booth’s immersive and visually striking design, the announcement was amplified with the right visual and emotional resonance. It attracted media attention, industry leaders visited the booth, and meaningful conversations took place—exactly what you’d expect from a global air show activation.
But beyond the immediate enthusiasm, the stand reinforced a deeper narrative: Aciturri doesn’t just manufacture parts; it’s shaping the future of aviation. The laser mapping installation made that vision tangible. The architecture embodied it. And the interactive zones brought it to life in every conversation.
As Dave Jackson, CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, put it:
“Aciturri’s engineering and sustainability capabilities enable Deutsche Aircraft to fully meet the D328eco’s commercialization goals… We are proud to share the same vision on sustainability.”
This booth wasn’t about size: it was about message, experience, and alignment. It became a platform where technological storytelling merged with commercial drive, and where Aciturri’s next chapter literally lit up the walls.
