At SINAPSIS we explore the relationship between visual elements and the dynamics of light signals, inspired by the biological process of neuronal synapses.

In nature, synapses are the communication channels between neurons, where the electrical and chemical impulses essential for brain function are exchanged. Based on this biological phenomenon, the installation recreates this communication through a dialogue between different light and sound emitters.

The installation invites viewers to reflect on the importance of communication, not only on a biological level, but also in a broader sense. In an era marked by technological hyperconnectivity, the work reminds us of the value of the most basic and essential human connections.

Through light, laser and sound, SINAPSIS becomes a minimalist space for contemplation on the interconnection, coordination and complexity of life itself.
