TARS Design wins three Eventex 2026 awards for the Canary Islands and Valencia Digital Summit projects

The Eventex Awards are one of the most prestigious competitions in the global events and experiential marketing industry. In its 2026 edition, more than 1,400 entries from 58 countries competed for an award that is not given based on size or budget, but on the ability to create experiences that matter.

TARS Design takes three.

Gold, Silver and Bronze in the same edition

The Canary Islands stand presented at FITUR Madrid, WTM London, and ITB Berlin 2025 won Silver in Exhibition Experience and Bronze in Brand Experience – Travel and Leisure. The 1,770 m² space, built around the concept of “The best climate in the world,” featured parametric architecture, kinetic lighting, and interactive experiences based on artificial intelligence. It also reduced transport volume by 22% and the carbon footprint by 16% compared to the previous edition.

The comprehensive production of the Valencia Digital Summit 2024 for Startup Valencia won Gold in the Conference category. More than 30,000 m² were transformed into an immersive technology ecosystem for 12,000 attendees from 110 countries, featuring seven simultaneous stages and an opening ceremony with live laser mapping. All set up in less than ten days.

What these awards mean to us

These are not two similar projects. An institutional tourism stand that travels to three international trade fairs and a European-scale technology congress are commissions with completely different logics, clients, and challenges.

Being recognized by Eventex with several awards in the same edition confirms something we’ve been advocating for some time: that the design of physical experiences works just as well in a trade fair hall as in a 30,000 m² conference. What changes is the format… but we must be careful not to change the approach.

We continue.
